Cheryl Cole Asks Ashley For A Quickie Divorce

It seems as though Cheryl has taken Simon Cowell’s wise, wise advice and has asked her husband Ashley for a divorce.

Yes despite those rumours that she was considering taking Ashley back, Cheryl has decided to get rid of her cheating hubby once and for all and she’s even enlisted the services of top divorce lawyer Fiona Shakelton (who represented Paul McCartney in his divorce case against Heather Mills) to help her do exactly that.

According to sources Cheryl doesn’t want to get involved in a high profile divorce battle, and would like all proceedings to be as “discreet” as possible. It’s also said that Chezza wants “nothing” from her husband – except for the dogs, of course.

Its thought that the Girls Aloud singer will now be moving out of her marital home in Surrey and into a house in North London – the area of the capital she first lived in after moving from Newcastle.
